This course is designed to significantly extend your existing qualification and experience in the field of information technology.
This masters degree may be completed in one of two ways, by coursework, where you complete 48 credit points or by coursework and dissertation where you complete 36 credit points in coursework and a 12-credit point dissertation.
You’ll be able to tailor your degree to meet your career goals by choosing specialisations in IT Management, Data Science or Internet-working and Security.
You’ll also have the flexibility to complete qualifications as you go, allowing you to complete the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology after one semester, or the Graduate Diploma after one year, in either Information Technology Management, Internet-working and Security or Data Science, depending on which units you select.

Recognised Bachelor's degree in IT (AQF Level 7); OR recognised non-IT Bachelor's degree plus an approved qualification in IT (AQF Level 8); OR recognised non-IT Honours degree (AQF Level 8) plus five or more years of relevant experience. Recognition of relevant and current informal or non-formal learning may be used for entry requirements, and should be discussed with the Academic Chair.
English Language requirements: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; CAE - 169 overall with no band below 169; PTE - 50 with no band below 50; TOEFL IBT - 73 with no band less than 18; Test of English as a Foreign Language - Paper Based (TOEFL - Paper Based) - 534 (Test of Written English not less than 4.5); OET - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
