Master of Science - Environmental Consultancy and Conservation

This major is focused on the development of high-level ecology, environmental science and management skills and an understanding of environmental practices as they relate to business, government and the community. Students combine advanced scientific theory with ‘muddy boots’ fieldwork and hands-on practice in contaminated site assessment and remediation, wildlife field techniques, water quality management, coastal restoration and more.Graduates can pursue thriving consultancy careers or explore opportunities in education and public outreach, research and development, policy or hands-on scientific practice. They work for government agencies, including local councils, environmental protection authorities, and parks, land and water services CSIRO and other research institutes tourism centres and other organisations concerned with natural resource management.
