The Finance program will expose students to current theories and applied finance skills and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) affiliated university program. The curriculum will expose students to a wide variety of topics including investments, portfolio management, derivatives, corporate finance, personal finance, international finance, etc.The Finance program will appeal to students who are interested in understanding financial markets such as the stock and bond markets and who wish to learn more about how to make investment decisions at both the corporate and personal levels. Students will learn practical skills using our state-of-the-art Finance Lab in their class assignments. Students also have extracurricular opportunities to improve their finance skills, such as managing a portfolio worth over a half million dollars (Xaverian Capital) or competing in finance case competitions (e.g., CFA Investment Research Challenge, CFA Ethics Challenge Case Competition). The program will prepare students to work in industry or to pursue higher studies in finance.

Students can submit predicted or anticipated results for early fall admission and scholarship purposes.For high school students the minimum admission requirements include an overall average of 70 percent in Grade 12 with no grade below 65 percent in each of the required subjects Admissions to limited enrolment programs is competitive meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission.Please note students who are currently in grade 12 applying for early admission must have the program requirements in grade 11 and be registered in the program prerequisites in grade 12 to be eligible for an early offer Otherwise offers will be made after receipt of final first term grade 12 transcript.
