Get an introduction to a variety of arts and cultural topics and have the opportunity to perform with the one-year Certificate in Performing and Fine Arts. You'll learn from professional artists who will help you discover and develop your interest in acting, stagecraft and event technology, film studies, theatre history, music, or creative writing for the stage or screen. Explore how the arts connect to social issues, and gain the confidence to explore your own creative skills and integrate art practice into your daily life. See plays, attend art exhibits and have the option to join a vocal or instrumental ensemble. Academic course credits are transferable so that if you discover an interest in music, art history, film studies, theatre history or creative writing for the stage or screen you may continue to pursue those disciplines.
