Master’s level graduates will be able to lead in a variety of roles including Clinical Nurse Specialist, educator, administrator, and policy maker. With their increased knowledge of the theoretical basis of practice, nursing specific knowledge and practical experiences, they will be able to play a role in evolving health care systems. For the Course-Based master’s degree, students will: Demonstrate the ability to apply leadership and nursing theory to their practice. Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate applied evaluation methods, including the development of quality improvement strategies. Complete four required and four additional approved half courses usually centred around a theme.
