The MA program participates in the collaborative program in Feminist and Gender Studies at the masters level. The Master of Arts in Education Program (MA) is intended for candidates who wish to undertake research in a specific domain of educational studies. It is offered in the following five concentrations:Counselling psychology, Health professions education, Leadership, evaluation, curriculum and policy studiesSocieties, cultures and languages, Studies in teaching and learningThis program provides teachers with opportunities to enhance their teaching skills in order to add to their Basic Qualifications other Qualifications recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).Teachers can take Additional Qualification Courses (AQ Courses) to upgrade and gain qualifications in a certain teaching division or subject area or The purpose of Additional Basic Qualification (ABQ) courses to expand your knowledge of program development, delivery, and assessment in a specific division.
