For all current health professionals and those with a relevant undergraduate degree wishing to pursue postgraduate study in a health-related field. The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science covers a broad range of health science subjects. Complete a generic programme or specialise in one subject area. Involves one year of full-time study or up to four years of part-time study. You can pick between a generic postgraduate diploma in health sciences or choose from one of our specialisations on offer. The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences in Advanced Nursing is aimed at registered nurses seeking to advance their knowledge and skills. It is intended to give nurses the core generic skills and knowledge essential for advanced nursing practice in a specialist area, and preparation for research. The intent is that the postgraduate diploma will allow the nurse to develop competencies associated with advanced nursing practice. Students who have completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences in Advanced Nursing may apply to credit the 60 points to the diploma, and then undertake an additional 60 points in courses to complete the diploma.
