**Course overview**Our BA (Hons) Chinese Studies (with Foundation Year) is perfect if you want to study Chinese at degree level but don't have the right qualifications.On the foundation year, you'll be introduced to essential academic skills to help you succeed in higher education. You'll also explore the historical, cultural and linguistic aspects of Chinese studies. No previous knowledge of Chinese is needed.You'll gain critical skills in research, intercultural communication and global awareness. Alongside this you'll explore language, politics and society in depth.When you successfully complete the foundation year, you'll progress onto BA (Hons) Chinese Studies. From Year 1 you'll immerse yourself in the Chinese language, culture and society.
