​The pathway brings together experts on international and global health issues with professional experience across the humanitarian, epidemiological, socio-economic, cultural, and policy-aligned determinants of health. The pathway is available to study for: 1 year full-time (12 months) 2 years part-time (24 months) 3 years part-time (36 months). Tailor your learning experience Choose from two distinct pathways to align with your career aspirations: Master of Public Health (Global Public Health Pathway) MPH – Designed for those pursuing careers in global health settings Master of Public Health (MPH) – Focuses on public health competencies relevant to the UK healthcare landscape. Programme highlights Comprehensive multidisciplinary approach – Learn how to collaborate effectively to address health inequalities by tackling social, economic, and political determinants of health. Critical global health analysis – Understand how health inequalities emerge and persist across populations and systems. Applied research training – Gain hands-on experience in epidemiological and qualitative research methodologies to be applied to national and cross-national settings. Evidence-based policy insights – Explore how social science theories enhance global health strategies and solutions. Career development and accreditation The Global Health Pathway maintain the core components of the UK Faculty of Public Health specialty training curriculum, expanding them to include the critical understanding of contexts and determinants beyond national boundaries . Graduates are well-positioned for leadership roles in global health and public health research, policy, and practice.
