We are looking for exceptionally talented, motivated and creative scholars interested in a new generation of issues linked to the sustainable food supply for the planet, the governance of food systems, technical and social aspects of food production, hydrological processes and change, eco-hydrology, provision of clean water, and community resilience or adaption to climate change. We offer an engaging Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) providing bespoke and relevant training and mentoring, delivered by an international team of field experts. The DTP is versatile and flexible in addition to having rigour and relevance, allowing you to choose creditable development activities that fit your needs and research schedules. We have an engaging doctoral programme delivered at the Centre which provides bespoke training. Students are fully integrated into CAWR via a range of activities including: Tailored inductions Research Seminars Peer to peer presentations Workshops Summer Schools

A minimum of a 2:1 first degree in a relevant discipline/subject area with a minimum 60 percentage mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 60 percentage overall module average. In the event of a first degree classification of less than 2:1, a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent. The Masters must have been attained with minimum overall marks at merit level (60 percentage) (Or higher where stipulated against a specific opportunity). In addition, the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a minimum mark of merit level (60 percentage).
