This degree will prepare you for professional opportunities in settings such as health, social care, education and youth justice.You’ll become familiar with the range of services for children and young people. Through work placements of your choosing, you’ll apply your learning in real practice settings to make a difference to young people’s lives.This course will introduce social pedagogy, an inclusive and holistic approach to wellbeing, learning and growth. It’s endorsed by the Social Pedagogy Professional Association (SPPA). You’ll gain an understanding of children’s law and rights and the importance of safeguarding. Studies also include child development, life transitions, ethics and diversity, and relationship-based professional practice.**Future Skills** Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability.
