Ne öğreneceğim?

Webster University's Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology program helps students develop a critical appreciation of the social and cultural dimensions of human behavior and beliefs. Our curriculum gives students the necessary critical thinking skills to examine and explain social change, inequality, and cultural diversity within a rapidly changing world. This degree prepares students for careers in the 21st century ranging from technology, global public health, social work, international business, and public service. At the core of our curriculum is social and global engagement with an emphasis on preparing students to become changemakers in local and global communities. We offer many opportunities for students to gain important career skills in cultural competence, problem solving, interpersonal communication, and research and analysis. These skills will help students become effective leaders in business and marketing, technology, diversity and inclusion work and health and medicine. Our students have worked with faculty on black entrepreneurism projects, conducting oral histories in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community to preserve stories about identity, and interned at community organizations working with racial and social justice.
