The Contra Costa College Studio Arts Program is designed to give students the theoretical and practical foundation necessary to pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing, painting, design, ceramics, photography, or sculpture. Pursuant to SB1440, section 66746 the Associate in Arts for Transfer Degree in Studio Arts may be earned by completing the following requirements • Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University (CSU), including the CalGETC GE requirements• A minimum of 18 semester units or 27 quarter units in a major or area of emphasis • Obtain a minimum grade point average of 2.0.• Minimum grade of ''C'' (or ''P'') for each course in the major, and• Completion of CalGETC GE requirements.
