As a Math major at Valpo you will get immersed in problem solving, analysis and modeling of systems, and research.You have the opportunity to join a research group as a freshman. You will prepare for your first job or for graduate school through our professional development program that starts in your first year. You will take colloquium with math students from every class, and get to know the upperclassmen as soon as you set foot on campus. You will be able to pursue any other occupation you have as well, because math is in the middle of everything.

Applicants are required to have High School graduation.

English language requirements: TOEFL (75 iBT minimum); IELTS (6.0 minimum); iTEP (3.8 or higher); PTE (56 or higher); SAT (Reading & Writing score of 500); ACT (English score of 24); GCE or GCSE English exam (Grade of A or B); IB Higher Level English Exam (Score of 5, 6, or 7 or grade A or B); Completion of at least 2 consecutive years of high school and graduate from a US based high school; Completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language Center.
