The B.S. in Architecture is a pre-professional, four-year program, leading to career opportunities within the building industry as well as to accelerated graduate-level degrees, including Architecture, Infrastructure Planning, Civil Engineering and Construction Management. As an Architecture school within a research university, we are a platform for innovation. Our emphasis on research faculty offers students the opportunity to collaborate in growing areas from nanotechnology to augmented and virtual reality, and to explore the frontiers of robotics and digital fabrication. Our program objectives are grounded in professional accreditation requirements.The MSM program is drawn from the polytechnic heritage of the institute as it integrates fundamental business principles with the STEM offerings. While the areas of specialization are interdisciplinary and STEM-focused, they also require knowledge to manage administrative tasks. Thus, the MSM program also seeks to prepare graduates for enduring careers as successful administrators at varying levels of organizational hierarchy performing interdisciplinary STEM-related specialized tasks.
