This Professional Studies Degree is designed to meet the special demands of adult learners. The Bachelor of Business Studies degree in Entrepreneurship (BBS Entrepreneurship) equips and prepares students to succeed in their business and entrepreneurial careers. The BBS Entrepreneurship degree gives students the option to focus on business startup, corporate innovation, or business as mission. Students will develop an entrepreneurial mindset aimed at problem-solving, innovation, and value creation. More specifically, students are taught to identify where business opportunities exist, how to develop new ideas, create new value within their industries, and build out business plans to support their ventures. DBU offers many events for networking, both in the general business world and the entrepreneurship community. Those who graduate from DBU with a BBS Entrepreneurship degree have the freedom and flexibility of working for themselves or an employer in almost any industry, including small business franchising, major corporations, nonprofit management, ministry related ventures, and new venture development.
