Develop your bassoon musicianship while gaining the practical skills needed for a successful career in music. At the Fred Fox School of Music internationally regarded in music instruction students earning the Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Bassoon emphasis benefit from individualized lessons and personal attention tailored to their unique needs and career goals. Students can audition for the Bassoon Studio, where they'll partake in weekly lessons and studio classes, guest-artist master classes, performance opportunities and clinician-led workshops in orchestral repertoire, entrepreneurship and even performance anxiety. While learning from a faculty comprising renowned artists, performers and scholars, students enjoy access to a state-of-the-art recording studio, a visiting composer series and the Arizona Contemporary Ensemble.
