By choosing General Business, students will be exposed to more classes in different business units and then explore minors and degree options that fit with their interests.

The breadth of business content in the General Business major is ideal for students pursuing non-traditional careers that benefit from a business background, such as pre-law or pre-health fields. Students often pursue the General Business degree before settling on specific degree options in Spears Business. In particular, our Pre-Law option provides students with a solid foundation of business content that often enhances opportunities in law school.
