The Management and Leadership major is ideal for students looking to enhance their natural talents with skills valued in virtually every field. In this major, you will enhance your capacity to lead, as you develop management, problem-solving, team-based, and ethical decision-making skills. You’ll apply what you learn on-campus in leadership roles and through experiential learning opportunities. Twenty-first century businesses, whether for-profit or nonprofit organizations, need individuals who can inspire and motivate others make key decisions that positively influence the long-term health of the company and solve problems quickly, efficiently, and appropriately. Leaders must also understand all facets of business from accounting to finance, marketing to analytics. With a BSBA degree from the College of Business and a major in Management and Leadership, you will have the wide-ranging business background and specialized skills to take on roles of authority. The University is accredited by AACSB International, the leading accrediting body for business schools worldwide.You’ll learn to oversee people and projects in such courses as Human Resources Management and Project Management, and also study business law and the successful interpersonal skills used by managers.
