Peer behind the gloss and glamor to discover how design concepts come to life and are marketed to consumers. The Fashion Design and Merchandising program produces future leaders in a dynamic and global industry that operates at the intersection of creativity, technology, commerce, and culture. Through experiential learning, students address some of the most complex issues facing the industry today to create a more sustainable fashion future. A portfolio review is not required for admission to the Fashion Design and Merchandising Program.

| WVU will convert applicants academic results into a U.S. grade point average (GPA) on a maximum 4.0 scale. Freshman applicants with a converted GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale can be admitted, although some majors may have higher GPA requirements for direct entry. |
