Bachelor of Science in Sound Recording Technology - Audio Technology

The audio technology track is for students that might not have had access to classical or jazz performance experience, but still want the opportunity to work in the audio industry. The Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology (SRT) prepares students for careers in the audio industry. The SRT program includes coursework in classical and popular recording, music production, surround sound audio for film and multimedia, as well as physics, electronics and mathematics. The faculty is comprised of experienced recording engineers, dedicated to teaching excellence. Drawing upon the resources of the city, students have the opportunity to work and study at Chicago area recording studios and live performance venues.​
