CCM’s Bachelor of Music in Harpsichord offers students the opportunity to hone technical expertise, musicianship and knowledge in the center of Cincinnati, a next-generation city revered for the arts. Students become familiar with a range of repertoire by rehearsing and performing with multiple ensembles and presenting at least one solo recital. Students applying to the program should have a basic familiarity with figured bass continuo.In addition to unparalleled performance opportunities, BM Harpsichord students complete an intensive study of classical music literature and music theory and work closely with their faculty mentors, gaining the aptitude and experience to perform professionally.
