The construction management program at SIUE blends business and engineering coursework to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary for the multi-faceted aspects of careers in construction management. Students study engineering fundamentals and construction management practices and procedures, and integrate a business administration minor to develop a strong foundation that allows them to rapidly advance in the construction industry.Hands-on LearningOur students have the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom by participating in student organizations, including student chapters of Associated General Contractors (AGC), American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Associated Schools of Construction competition teams. Students also gain real-world construction management experience through co-ops, internships and undergraduate research.
