The groundbreaking MS in Fashion Design Technology program is developed to create the next generation of fashion professionals for a complex global fashion system. Students are invited to create their own path, and customize the experience to focus on different tracks with global opportunities right at their fingertips. By moving beyond the hand-crafted approach to understanding the science and management of fashion, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology, students will have the opportunity to focus on design as a strategic function, integrated along the cycle of research and design, product development, branding and distribution.
By participating in science, technology, and 3D design discussions, students can open doors to new and exciting career paths as fashion engineers or garment technologists.
This degree also offers hybrid flexibility. During the final semester, participants create a project that demonstrates topic mastery through synthesis of knowledge and skills inspired from their previous coursework.
The MS in Fashion Design Technology program is designed for flexibility. A hybrid flexible learning model and specialized areas of study allow for a customizable learning experience. Regardless of your focus of study, students will learn to survey brand strategies, brand aesthetic, and product assortment across channels of distribution based on defined strategies. They will develop the ability to drive change by identifying, examining and critiquing the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability.
