It is expected that most applicants for the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering will have obtained undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering. However, students with degrees in other branches of engineering or in science may be accepted with the provision that they take such undergraduate courses as prescribed by the department as prerequisites for graduate work.

TOEFL scores 560 Paper-Based Test (PBT), 83 Internet-Based Test (IBT) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Overall Band score of 7 or higher (if applicable).
