The School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Arizona State University is committed to maintaining excellence in the major fields of philosophy and to emphasizing its contemporary relevance as well as to participating in innovative programs. The Bachelor of Arts program in philosophy, religion and society comprises historical, theoretical and practical perspectives on philosophy, religion and social ethics, and it emphasizes social and political concerns by putting the studies of philosophy and religion into action. This interdisciplinary degree program offers two tracks: applied ethics and religious studies. This major is eligible for the Western Undergraduate Exchange program at the following location: West Valley campus. Students from Western states who select this major and campus may be eligible for reduced nonresident tuition at a rate of 150% of Arizona resident tuition plus all applicable fees.
