In our step-by-step program, you’ll learn and apply a method of stage managing that is used in every major professional theater company in both the United States and abroad. Combine classroom and experiential learning. Learn and receive individual attention from the professionals at Syracuse Stage, a professional theater company that shares a theater complex with the department. Participate behind the scenes as a production assistant in your first year. Work after your first year as an assistant stage manager or production stage manager for department main stage productions and intern with Syracuse Stage.
