The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering located in the Faculty of Engineering offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Applied Science (MASc), Master of Engineering (MEng) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering.The PhD program prepares candidates for a career in teaching, research and/or development. Graduates are expected to have acquired autonomy in conducting research, preparing scholarly publications, and promoting chemical engineering.The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is a leader in engineering and computer science education and research, providing its students with top quality degrees and experiential learning experiences to prepare them to meet the ever-changing needs of society.
