This pathway of our well-established MA Education course is about extending your understanding of teaching & learning through theory & practice.

The course is designed with part-time study in mind, for those who are already teaching or supporting teaching and learning. However, you can also accelerate your studies with our full-time option. It aims to have a direct impact on your teaching approaches and help you to become a more rounded, reflective practitioner.

You will learn the key educational processes that are essential for learning, teaching, and the positive management of change.

You will develop your understanding of current policy, theory, and research in teaching and learning and consider how these relate to your day-to-day practice.

It encourages critical analysis and constructive development of personal and peer practices, nurturing intellectual, organisational, and professional skills.

Tailored to your professional commitments, the study mode is only evenings, which for part-time students is once per week, and for full-time students is twice per week.
