Use our Maths Study space, with pods for group work, chalkboards and glass walls for writing on, to study with friends and get support from students across all year groups. Furthermore, as part of the Russell Group, our rigorous scientific research feeds directly into your modules. **Key features of this course:** - You’ll be able to specialise in pure or applied mathematics or statistics, or follow a broad path across these topics and more - Learn to use mathematical and computational packages such as Python and the statistics package 'R' - You’ll be taught through a combination of lectures and workshops, by leading researchers in fields, such as group theory, the mathematics of nature and experimental design. **Student Support** Your Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) will be there to help guide you throughout your time at Southampton.
