The Level 4 HNC lays the foundation of higher learning in mechanical engineering. This develops and strengthens core skills while preparing students for specialist subjects at Level 5 or to enter employment and will be competent in a range of subject-specific and general skills and qualities relevant to key areas of engineering. This HNC is specifically designed for students wishing to progress in mechanical engineering. It provides a good grounding in Engineering whilst providing a specialism at higher level in a range of mechanical subjects. All units are supported by industry experienced staff in purpose built labs extensively equipped for this subject area. This is a Fulltime route with all content delivered in one year. Various trips to support modules may be offered throughout the year dependant on company availability. Previous trips have included manufacturers, automation plants and power stations.
