Our MBBS Medicine with a foundation year is a 6-year programme will will enable your to become a professional, compassionate doctor. The foundation forms the first academic year, and this prepatory year is taught at our National Centre for Remote and Rural Medicine at our Westlakes campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria. During this first year, you will learn fundamental biomedical sciences and mathematics that later in the course you will apply to normal human body functioning and then later the disease state, plus scientific communication skills.
