Recent PhD candidates have studied and gone on to work in high-demand areas such as: cyber security, cryptography, blockchain and BitCoin the development and application of biomedical devices in industry and hospital settings sensing technology for major infrastructure projects, including tachographs for the rail industry, and the developing area of fibre optic sensors.
